نا ہے ضرورت تخلص کی مجھے

کہاں ہوں میں اتنا مشہور زمانے میں

لوگ ہیں بس چند ہی اچھے

جو ڈھونڈتے ہیں ، سکون میرے الفاظوں میں

Na hai zaroorat takhallus ki mujhe

Kahan hon mein itna mashoor zamane mein

Loog hain bas chand hi ache

Jo dhoondte hain, sukoon mere alfazon mein.

Description

The poem relays the poet’s refusal to own a pen name. He believes in impacting and connecting with a smaller audience, who he knows truly appreciate his work, and find peace in his words. To us, this illustrates that artists have an inherent need to spread positivity and create an impact through their work; that peace within art is a binding element that connects the artist and his audience!
